Milestones
It all started in 1980 in a garage. This was where the two company founders Paul Kramer and Karl Best welded together their first customer order, a pressure container. In the meantime, Kramer & Best Anlagenbau GmbH has developed into a global enterprise with more than 165 employees. This dynamic development was made possible by the highest degree of customer orientation: reliable on-time delivery and the great commitment of the employees of Kramer & Best are the essential competitive advantages.
For every order we also try to put ourselves in our customer’s place. Problems are not always foreseeable, particularly with complex systems. This high degree of customer orientation pays off. Many customers have been with us for years and put their trust in Kramer & Best.
A success story in the second generation
1980
Founding of Kramer & Best Anlagenbau GmbH by Paul Kramer and Karl Best in Winningen/Mosel.
1987
Relocation of the company's headquarters to Dörth/Hunsrück.
1989
The management team is expanded to include Herbert Esper.
1999
The subsidiary Kramer & Best d.o.o. is founded in Tuzla, Bosnia.
2000
Business activities are expanded to include Turnkey industry solutions.
2001
Certified under DIN EN ISO 9002:2008.
2003
Markus Kramer, a graduate in business management, joins the company as a corporate officer with full signature authority.
2004
Kramer & Best WISERV GmbH is founded in Mainz
2005
Dr Markus Kramer takes over commercial management of Kramer & Best Anlagenbau GmbH.
2006
Network partnerships are expanded in eastern Europe
2007
A branch in Landsberg is founded (Sales and R&D).
2008
Founding of Kramer & Esper Holding and Kramer & Best Process Engineering in Landsberg.
2008
Dr Markus Kramer becomes Commercial Director of the company.
2009/2010
Expansion of international activities / cooperation with Russia.
2012
Life Science I Pharmaceutical process technology business division is expanded.
2012/2013
Introduction of the international occupational safety management systems.
2014
Founding of a branch in Mittelbiberach with in-house production for the pharmaceutical industry.
